STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Definitions
- “CIBV” or “the Centre” refers to Casey Indoor Beach Volleyball Centre.
- “Customer” means any person or entity purchasing or booking services or merchandise from CIBV.
- “Services” refers to activities offered by CIBV including but not limited to court hire, leagues, events, coaching, and venue bookings.
- “Goods” refers to any physical merchandise sold by CIBV.
2. Bookings and Payment
- All bookings must be made and paid in advance via our website or reception.
- Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise specified.
- Bookings are only confirmed upon successful payment and are subject to availability.
- Customers are responsible for attending at their scheduled time. Late arrivals may forfeit their session without refund.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking may be eligible for a full refund or credit.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours.
- CIBV reserves the right to cancel sessions due to hazardous conditions (e.g. power outages, emergency evacuations). In such cases, affected bookings will be credited or rescheduled.
4. Conduct and Safety
- All customers must follow staff directions and adhere to facility rules.
- Offensive language, aggression, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund.
- Appropriate sportswear must be worn (bare feet or non-marking shoes only).
- Players must remove jewellery or sharp objects before entering courts.
- All injuries or safety concerns must be reported to staff immediately.
5. Property and Equipment
- CIBV is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal items.
- Any damage to equipment or property due to negligence may result in repair charges or bans.
6. Merchandise Sales
- All merchandise sales are final unless the item is faulty.
- Claims for faulty goods must be made within 7 days of purchase and require proof of transaction.
- Returns are handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7. Privacy and Data
- Customer information is collected and managed per the CIBV Privacy Policy.
- Users may request access to or deletion of their data by emailing: caseyindoorbeachvolleyball@gmail.com
- For OAuth-linked accounts (e.g. Google), users can manage data via their provider or via the Data Deletion Page.
8. Photography and Promotion
- Photography and video recording are permitted as long as they do not disrupt games or invade privacy.
- Images taken during events may be used for promotional purposes. Consent is required for identifying individuals.
9. Force Majeure
- CIBV is not liable for failure to provide services due to causes beyond our control (e.g. natural disaster, power failure, emergency closure).
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
